Teacher, student and parent portals
What each portal is, and how to control exactly what families see.
Portals are what families, students and teachers see. Student and parent portals are enabled per student, and you control exactly which sections appear.
Enabling a portal
- Open the student's profile and find Portal access.
- Turn on the student portal, the parent portal, or both.
- Enter the login email for each. The parent portal uses the parent's email, and the student portal the student's.
- Choose the sections each portal shows: attendance, Hifz progress, results, homework or fees, configured separately for students and parents.
What each portal shows
A parent with several children can follow each of them, and sees only the sections you enabled. The teacher portal gives teachers their classes, attendance and Hifz logging in a focused view. The parent portal interface is being expanded during the beta, and the access settings you choose now carry forward.
Good practice
- Enable portals a class at a time, so questions surface early.
- Review section visibility before results are published.
- Keep login emails current when a family's contact changes.
