Academic management
Classes, subjects, books, timetables, exams and dual-track grading for both Islamic and academic programmes.
Islamic institutions often run several programmes side by side: Dars-e-Nizami (Alim), Hifz, pre-Alim, weekend schools and K-12 academic studies. Masira models each of these as a first-class track, so you can configure classes, subjects, grading and transcripts the way your institution actually teaches.
How it works
- 1
Create classes per track with sections, capacity, teacher and default monthly fee.
- 2
Attach subjects to each class with the book, author, teacher and total marks.
- 3
Build the weekly pattern and schedule lessons, with conflicts detected before saving.
- 4
Set homework, exams and question papers, and issue certificates.
Classes and tracks
- Create classes for Dars-e-Nizami, Hifz, K-12, pre-Alim, short courses or custom programmes.
- Set sections, capacity, class teacher, monthly fee and gender restrictions.
- Define prerequisite classes and roll every class forward into a new academic year in one action.
Subjects and books
- Subject categories include Fiqh, Hadith, Tafsir, Nahw & Sarf, Arabic literature, Aqeedah, Tarbiyah, English, Math, Science and Qur'an.
- Attach the book title and author studied for each subject, as is customary in Dars-e-Nizami.
- Assign teachers and total marks per subject and per class.
Timetables and lessons
- Build a template week and generate dated lessons from it.
- Lessons respect holidays, term dates and daily prayer times.
- Conflicts for teachers, rooms and classes are detected before they are saved.
Exams and grading
- Grading scales, weighted grade categories and calculation rules — category weights must total 100%.
- Grades move through draft, review and published states.
- Changes after publishing require a correction request with a reason, keeping results trustworthy.
Dual-track GPA and transcripts
- Separate GPA calculations for academic, Dars-e-Nizami and Hifz tracks.
- Produce blended or separate transcripts depending on your institution's policy.
- Learning standards and standards-based scores are supported alongside traditional marks.
Homework and question papers
- Assign homework with due dates by class and subject.
- Prepare question papers with marks, duration and instructions.
- Issue certificates for completion, conduct and Hifz milestones.
