Hifz tracking
Structured Sabaq, Sabqi and Manzil logs with quality ratings, mistake counts and a 30-Juz heatmap for every student.
Memorizing the Qur'an is a journey of years, and progress is easy to lose in notebooks. Masira gives every muallim a fast, touch-friendly log that records exactly what each student recited, how well, and what needs revision — and turns those entries into a clear picture of progress across all 30 Juz.
How it works
- 1
Select the student and log today's recitation: Sabaq, Sabqi or Manzil.
- 2
Record the surah and ayah range or pages, the juz, a star rating and the mistake count.
- 3
Add notes for parents or the next teacher.
- 4
Watch the juz heatmap fill in and spot weak portions before they slip.
Sabaq — the new lesson
- Record the surah, ayah range or page memorized today.
- Rate fluency and tajweed, and count mistakes and hesitations.
- Add notes for the student and for parents.
Sabqi — recent revision
- Track revision of recently memorized portions, typically the last few juz or pages.
- Spot weak portions early before they are forgotten.
- Revision quality is stored alongside the new lesson for comparison.
Manzil — long-term revision
- Log revision of older memorized portions in a rotating cycle.
- See which juz have not been revised recently.
- Supports institutions with different Manzil cycles and expectations.
30-Juz heatmap
- A visual map of all 30 Juz for every student, shaded by status and quality.
- Instantly see memorized, in-progress and weak portions.
- Useful in parent meetings and for teacher handovers.
Ratings and milestones
- Star ratings provide a consistent quality score across teachers.

- Hifz results can feed a dedicated Hifz track on the transcript.
Built for the halaqah
- Large touch targets for logging on phones and tablets during class.
- Arabic surah names and right-to-left display.
- Parents can follow progress in the portal when enabled.
