Fee structures, discounts and sponsorships
Keep money handling consistent across families with rules set once.
Beyond individual invoices, Masira keeps fee structures, sibling discounts and sponsorships so money is handled consistently across a family.
Fee structures
Open Finance and then Fee structure. Each fee has a name, amount, billing cycle, monthly, term, annual or one time, and a due day, and can be tied to a class so the class fee becomes the default on new invoices.
Sibling discounts
Configure a sibling discount rule for your institution: a percentage or fixed amount applied from a chosen child onward. Because siblings are linked in the family record, the rule applies consistently on every invoice.
Sponsored students
Families can be linked to sponsors with a sponsorship type, full tuition, partial or ad hoc, a monthly amount, and start and end dates. Sponsor links can be hidden from the family, and they keep sponsored students clearly flagged for donor reporting.
Family statements
The family statement shows every invoice and payment across all siblings in one view, which is usually what a parent asks for at the office window.
